If you want to get in on this year's airdrop, dont feel like you have donate money or supplies to be valuable. We are always looking for help with inventory, sorting, packing and getting the word out to business and community leaders not only on Guam, but the rest of the world as well! Send us an email or give us a call and we'll be more than happy to put you in touch with one of our project-leaders!
The most crucial items needed are parachutes, first-aid kits, garden tools, school supplies, toys, fishing gear, snorkeling equipment, hygiene products, canned and non-perishable foods and used clothing.
We are also looking for professional seamstresses to assist in repairing any parachutes received that are damaged or otherwise unusable.
Box Sponsorship:
For a donation of $250 to Operation Christmas Drop, your organization’s name or logo (if provided) will be put on an actual box to be dropped in addition to the ChristmasDrop.com sponsor page! After the drop, we’ll send you a reminder of your generosity that includes a picture of your box and key facts about the impact your gift has made. We’ll also acknowledge all our sponsors in local print media after the drop.
Fund Raiser Prizes and/or Material Donation:
Operation Christmas Drop is a 100% non-profit organization, depending entirely on Guam’s generosity. We could really benefit from any donations (or services) your business provides. The Fund Raiser Prizes would be use to help generate donations from golf tournaments, 5K Runs, and any other events sponsored by Operation Christmas Drop.
Hosting a Donation Box:
Hosting a donation box is easy! Space permitting, Operation Christmas Drop will provide a donation box on your business's premesis to allow individuals to donate items purchased at your store. It's a great way to support the cause and has been proven to generate revenue for the host company. The decorating of boxes by the locations hosting them is highly recommend and appreciated for increased attention!
Last
year’s campaign started with
a bang on September 8th showcasing a 5K race. Over 400 people from
around the island showed up to support this event which coincided with
the last day of Air Force Week to represent Operation Christmas Drop as
an integral part of both Air Force and Guam history.
